I found that it required two holes on the bar for the device to fit and the instructions said that you could drill an extra hole in your chainsaw bar. I decided to go ahead and drill the hole. It was easy and didn’t harm my chainsaw. I hooked up the sharpener. I ran it for about 5-6 seconds. I then tried out my chainsaw. WOW!!! That thing cut like a new blade!!! I am completely impressed. Other than have to drill the extra hole, it took about a minute to do the sharpening, This is well worth the money. It works.

Easy to use and works pretty well actually. You just have to flip the tab open. There’s like two pins on the sharpener and you have two holes on the chainsaw bar, you just have to line them up together. Close the sharpener and make sure its lock and secured. Then start the chainsaw. It sharpens in 5 seconds so overall it’s definitely a time saver!
